Election Commission issues summons for collusion in election of 7th batch of senators

after the 26th Investigation and Inquiry Committee of the Election Commission (EC) issued summonses to those involved in the case of collusion in selecting senators, reaching the 6th lot, having just issued summonses for senators to acknowledge the charges and clarify the facts on 9 June, with 2 of them being MPs from the Bhumjaithai Party: Mr. Suksomruay Wanthaniyakul, MP for Amnat Charoen, and Mr. Pichai Chomphuphol, MP for Surat Thani Province, and another 13 being politicians' networks.

Previously, the Election Commission issued summonses to people involved in the collusion case in selecting senators, totaling 5 lots. The first lot, 55 people, were all senators, most of whom held high-ranking positions in the Senate and various committees.
